TREE CABLING / BRACING
Preserving both Tree and Property
Sometimes unregulated tree growth yields a tree that is both super-desirable and also a risk for property nearby. Overgrown limbs or trunks can occasionally reveal a structurally weak flaw, or excessive splitting and branching. Cabling can help a damaged tree gain a bright future as main trunks and main branches are kept in structurally sound weight distribution. It is totally possible to save a damaged tree, and we will be honest and straight-forward about that possibility before this treatment is applied.
WHAT IS TREE CABLING?
Tree cabling involves inserting bolts and drawing tight cables to shift the weight or durability of one structure to another. It can also help bind together multi-trunks, or give lift to overhanging masses. Cabling can be a remedy to an existing problem, but also, it can be set in such a way as to prevent a future problem. If a key branch or trunk looks susceptible to fall, it can be cabled to another mass so that any breakage that might occur could divert it from falling in a certain direction.
SHOULD I CABLE, OR JUST REMOVE THE TREE?
